Bid to Build is a fundraising event that includes dinner, a silent and live auction, and raffle drawings. The evening provides the Sarpy County community an opportunity to come together and BUILD HOPE for the families in our community who are in need. That’s what we do at Habitat for Humanity of Sarpy County; we BUILD HOMES to BUILD HOPE.

Donated items for both our silent auction and live auction are greatly needed. These auctions provide Habitat for Humanity of Sarpy County the opportunity to raise monetary funds that go 100% towards the building of new homes. Your donation helps us to continue building homes for families in Sarpy County who are a little less fortunate than others. Please consider donating one or more items to Bid to Build to be auctioned off at the event. Your name or company name will be on the label as the donor.

Habitat for Humanity Sarpy County is built on a foundation of volunteers and valuable partners. We have many opportunities for you to get involved. Please look over our volunteer committees, then pick one or more that interests you.

HFHSC looks at three distinct areas of selection criteria when reviewing potential “homeowner partners”. They are need, ability to pay, and willingness to partner. Homeowners are required to contribute 250-350 hours of sweat equity.
